Approximately, 63 teams, 1,250 athletes are registered to participate in the AAU Track and Field competed for the first time in Devonshire, Bermuda the weekend of June 7-8. This also marks the largest track & field competition with 12,644 athletes. Being a young athlete brings many challenges to light beyond what the average youth faces. It was a busy day under sunny skies at Apalachee Regional Park on December 5th. Dr. Goudy, the 47th president of the AAU, is the first AAU President from Ohio since 1947.
